Meet our furry residents
-
Panther
Panther was one of the group of 4 that first arrived to us, along with his foster sister, Lucky.
Panther was immediately at home when he got here and we knew that he was special and would thrive in the Catfe atmosphere. Even our visitors fall in love with him when they meet him. But it’s too late - he’s our fur-baby now as we adopted him to be our King of the Catfe.
-
Harlow
Harlow arrived to us with her sister Magic on the same day as Panther and Lucky did.
Whereas Panther immediately knew he was at home, Harlow & her sister were a little bit more nervous and hid behind the cushions. It didn’t take them long to settle in though, and after Magic and Lucky got adopted, the bond between Panther & Harlow grew, as did the bond between Harlow and Uncle Brad, who’s heart was melted so much that HE actually adopted Harlow to be the Queen of the Catfe.
-
Luna
Luna came to us after a young member of his original family was found to have a cat allergy, & they were keen for him to come to the Catfe because he's friendly, affectionate & so that the non-allergic family member can still visit him from time to time.
Luna settled in well at the Catfe &, whilst he tends to enjoy naps & snuggles more, he still enjoys playing with the rest of the Catfe Crew.
-
Bob & Garfield
One of the downsides of having had so many successful adoptions is that we sometimes found that our Catfe didn't have that many cats in it!
But this meant that sometimes our Bob & Garfield can come to work with Mummy & Daddy, & give our older fur-babies at home a bit of peace & quiet.
Don't get your hopes up on adopting them though - they are most definitely our babies, & will only be popping into the Catfe now & then.
-
Oliver
Oliver is a beautiful 6 year ol Persian, who came to us after his Hoo-Mummy died.
Oliver had lived in a residential care home &, whilst the staff had made sure that he was fed & had a clean litter tray, they weren’t able to keep up with the very high level of grooming required for Persians & Ollie sadly had a few knots which meant he needed to be shaved.
But he took it all in his stride & confidently mingle with our other kitties & Cafe visitors.
-
Willow
Willow came to us with Oliver & is just a couple of months older, but not as confident as Oliver.
He’s much more of a shy boy, but we’ve also heard that Oliver used to pick on him at their previous home. Now Oliver has other kitties to play with, Willow has his own space, & we’re hopeful he’ll come out of his shell more as time passes.
